From May onwards, young people in Heerlen North can look forward to something new. In collaboration with Sporting Heerlen, the Roda JC Wijktour, JENS, Buurtteams Heerlen, and other local partners, @ease is launching a welcoming club community. The inspiration comes from Everton in the Community, a successful initiative from Liverpool where sport, well-being, and mental health support come together.
We’re now translating that idea to Heerlen Noord. Because here, too, young people deserve a place they can rely on when life gets tough.
Every third Wednesday of the month, you’ll find @ease at Sportpark Grasbroek, 2:00–4:00 PM (Boerhaavestraat 36, 6415 VJ Heerlen). On that day, this @ease walk-in takes the place of our regular walk-in at The Break, so we can be present where the community is.
You don’t need to sign up. You also don’t need to know exactly what you want to say. Maybe you just want to clear your head. Or there’s something on your mind that feels hard to talk about with friends or family. Whatever it is, you’re always welcome.
