Why@ease?
At @ease, you can lean on someone for a while so you can stand firm again later. After all, there is a lot of ground between ‘everything is going well’ and ‘I need professional help’.
Yet many young people still think they can only seek help when things have really gone wrong. At @ease, we take a different approach. Even if you’re not sure exactly what you need yet, a single conversation can already help.
Stress. Problems at home. Insecurity. Loneliness. Doubts about yourself. Many young people carry these things around for longer than they need to. Some think their problem isn’t serious enough to talk about. Others think their problem is too serious for @ease. Neither is true.
Talking to a peer often feels easier.
At @ease, you talk to peer listeners: trained peers between the ages of 18 and 30.
They listen without judgment and give you space to share your story. Not because they have all the answers, but because they know what it’s like to be young in a world that expects a lot from you.
That is precisely why many young people quickly feel at ease at @ease.
When life’s a little off
Sometimes it’s a relief just to say out loud what’s on your mind.
After a conversation, many young people find that they gain a clearer overview, feel less alone, and have a better understanding of what helps them.
And if a conversation reveals that more is needed, we will look together at which step suits you.
Good to know:
We don’t wait for problems to escalate. We offer a place where young people can turn for help before things become overwhelming.
- Zero wait, just walk in
- No appointment
- No cost
- Simply a great place for every story.
