When life’s a little off

I need to talk

No name needed

No appointment needed

At no cost

I want to help

Sometimes, young people just need someone to notice that they’re struggling. As a parent, teacher, professional, policymaker, or volunteer, you can help them.

Dat je geen verwijzing hoeft te hebben

Sometimes it helps to say out loud what’s on your mind. You don’t need to know exactly what’s going on first.

At @ease, you won’t be judged. You’ll find someone who really listens to you.

You may notice afterwards that you:

  • Feel like things are clearer
  • Feel less alone
  • Have a better idea of what helps you

If it becomes clear during the conversation that you need more, we’ll work together to find what’s right for you. You always decide what feels right for you.

Maybe you know exactly what’s bothering you. Or maybe you have no idea. Either way is fine.

At @ease, you talk to people around your age: our peer listeners. They’re young people between 18 and 30 who know what it’s like to be young in a world where a lot is expected of you. They’re trained to listen carefully and give you the space to share your story.

A conversation with our peer listeners is:

  • Free and anonymous
  • No appointment needed
  • Safe and confidential

You don’t need to prepare anything. Just come in and talk about whatever’s on your mind. Big or small, anything goes.

You decide what happens

Our peer listeners listen without judgment. We won’t make decisions for you. We listen first. And if you want, we can think things through with you.

Sometimes, one conversation is exactly what you need.

You don’t have to wait until things get worse.
