How it works
Do you feel stressed out, alone, stuck at home, broke or just down? @ease is here for young people (12 to 25) who need someone to talk to.
At @ease you talk to someone your age. Someone who gets it. We listen. No pressure, no judgment. Come by whenever you want. You are always welcome. It’s free, 100% confidential and no referral needed.
Here’s how it works
Fellow young people
At @ease, you can share what’s on your mind with fellow young people. They’re volunteers, specially trained to listen. You’re not alone.
No appointment needed
Feel like talking? Just walk in or start a chat. No appointment needed. See our opening hours or log in to the chat.
Safe and easygoing vibe
Drop in and we’ll offer you something to drink. Then you’ll head to a comfy room for a chat with two volunteers. Talk for as long (or as little) as you like. Want to bring someone with you? No problem at all.
No hassle
No files, no fees and no permission needed from your parents or carers. You decide what to talk about, all at your own pace.
Need extra support?
Dealing with something more difficult? There’s always a mental health professional around. They can help you figure things out. They know the Dutch system and can guide you to other places that might help too.
Afterwards
After your talk, we might ask you to fill out a survey. How was the conversation? How did you find us? Your feedback helps us make @ease even better. Totally up to you so it’s 100% voluntary.
Yes. Yes, you’re in the right place. Just open the chat or find an @ease location near you. It’s free, 100% confidential and no referral needed. Feel like talking? Just walk in or start a chat. No appointment needed. See our opening hours or log in to the chat.
Are you feeling down or depressed? At @ease, you can talk for free and in confidence with young people who are trained to listen.
At @ease, you don’t need to wait. You can just walk in or start a chat with someone your age who listens.
Absolutely. You can simply share what’s on your mind. No strings attached. Just walk in and tell your story. Drop by and share what’s on your mind.
Talking helps. And that’s not just a catchphrase. When something’s on your mind, it can feel like you’re stuck in your own head. Saying things out loud gives you clarity, space and sometimes even relief. At @ease, you talk to trained peers. No pressure, no judgment. And it works: research shows that after just a few conversations, young people function better at school, connect more easily with others, and feel less down or tense. They start to feel less overwhelmed or down. Sometimes, that’s the difference between feeling stuck and moving forward.

It’s nice that you can just drop by. Sometimes you just need someone who listens.
