Sometimes your head is too full. You’re tired of thinking, stuck in your feelings, or just don’t know where to begin. For all those moments, there’s now something new: injebol.nl. An online platform specifically for young people aged 16 to 27 who are looking for peace, recognition, and a bit of direction. And @ease is one of the proud founders.
At injebol.nl you’ll find reliable and understandable information about mental health, read stories from young people who feel the same way you do, get started with tools and tips, and discover accessible support available – both locally and online.
More and more young people feel down, insecure, or overwhelmed. Yet many don’t know where to turn with their questions. Some feel ashamed. Others find the Dutch healthcare system like a maze of waiting lists and forms. That’s why at @ease, we believe in a different approach. We want young people to experience: I’m not the only one. There is help. That’s why we are co-initiator and lead partner of In je bol — together with our partners De Kindertelefoon, MIND Us, MIND, 113, Join Us, and Transformers Community.
All these initiatives come together at In je bol. Young people can choose the approach or organization that best suits their needs. This way, we make help easier to find and prevent young people from unnecessarily suffering from their worries.
At @ease, we’ve been creating safe, physical spaces for years, our walk-in living rooms, where young people can step in for a supportive talk. Always free, always confidential. Our knowledge in peer support, on-location coaching, and local referrals is now a vital foundation for In je bol.
In je bol isn’t an end point, but a beginning. A movement that helps young people find help faster and more easily. As Roline de Wilde, director of De Kindertelefoon and spokesperson for In je bol on behalf of all partners, puts it:
“In je bol is here for all young people who are struggling — with stress, uncertainty, or sadness. With this platform, we move forward together in our mission to make support for mild mental health challenges more accessible. By making it easier to find help and encouraging support among peers, we nurture the resilience and self-reliance of young people.”
Visit the platform and discover for yourself how In je bol helps young people to regain some space in their heads.
Do you want to talk to someone? That’s often easier with someone your age than with an adult. Whether you’re stressed, worried about school, or having thoughts of suicide: we listen. No judgment. Stop by @ease.
