Thérèse van Amelsvoort and Rianne Klaassen are @ease

founders

In 2017, Thérèse van Amelsvoort (left) and Rianne Klaassen (right) started @ease in the Netherlands, inspired by Australia’s Headspace and part of the global Youth Mental Health movement. In this blog, they look back on the year 2020 and show how @ease now stands on the strength of a growing group of committed people.

We really want to know how you’re doing… so we’ll listen to your story!

Maybe you dropped by @ease sometime or chatted with us online? That was a brave move, we know how hard it can be to take that first step. So thank you for your trust. And of course, we hope it was a good experience for you.

Still not sure if you want to stop by? Since we opened, we’ve had over 600 conversations with young people in Maastricht, Amsterdam, Heerlen and Rotterdam. And since this year, you can also reach us through the chat. Young people rate their conversation with us a 4.5 out of 5 (with 5 being super satisfied and 1 not satisfied at all). We’re pretty proud of that!

What we do at @ease is only possible thanks to all the young people, volunteers, professionals, and our local and national partners. Your trust, support and commitment mean the world to us! We’d love to show you how you’re all helping to build support that truly fits what young people need. Read more here.
